My whole life I have explored the world through bodily movement and as a result I was drawn to competitive sports at a young age. When I found yoga it was unlike any other athletic endeavor I had experienced. There is no winning, losing, or perfecting yoga. You come as you are to your mat and in the words of my teacher "yoga meets you where you are at." In my 15 plus years of practice, yoga has served me in times when I most needed it and helped me cope with life transitions and embrace new growth. In 2014, I was inspired to take my practice a step further and went on to complete my 200 RYT Hatha Yoga training in Denver, CO through Axis Yoga. After the birth of my first daughter, yoga stepped in again and helped my body recover, and prepared my mind and spirit for the challenges of motherhood. It was at this point that I knew I wanted to work with fellow women on their birth journey and beyond. In 2017, I studied under the Bhaktishop's Shana Celnicker-Chong and gained my training in pre and post-natal yoga. I love connecting with community and strive to create a safe and welcoming place to practice.
