Jessica McCarthy

An East coast native, Jessica expresses the various facets of her ever-evolving being as a professional dancer, movement teacher, and healer. From an early age, she has been curious and invested in exploring and deepening the connection between her mind, body, and spirit through the medium of dance. Jessica attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she received a BFA in Dance and a minor in Psychology. During her final year of studies at NYU, she followed the innate calling to take on her role as a teacher, training to become a 300 hour licensed Mind Body Dancer® yoga teacher under the direction of TaraMarie Perri. Alongside dancing professionally in NYC, Jessica founded Luminous Architecture, an integrative health and wellness practice with an emphasis on holistic lifestyle design. After 7 years of living in NYC, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest in the spring of 2018, bringing her into closer connection with the rhythms of the wild, in land and in spirit. In addition to working privately with clients, she also teaches open classes and workshops rooted in mindful movement, anatomical awareness, therapeutic practices, and energetic explorations.
