Are you interested in building skills to move through conflict more fluidly with your partner?
In times of conflict, do you and your partner:
- repeat the same conversations?
- get stuck in the content of the conflict, struggling to connect to your feelings more deeply?
- reach temporary resolution that doesn't last?
- 'fix' the conflict without connecting more deeply through it?
If any of these resonate for you, this workshop will help you and your partner to:
- break out of cyclical conflict and find more satisfying resolution
- connect more deeply through times of conflict
- build a greater sense of ‘we’ as a team
Join Lolo Halman (Dipl. PW) and Sara Eden Gally (AMFT) to learn body-based communication methods to transform conflict with your partner. This 'lab' is a space to practice with your partner using the tools introduced and to get coaching from skilled conflict facilitators while doing so.
Sunday, October 27th from 10am-2pm
Cost: Couples Communication Lab is offered at three payment tiers with a base rate of $175/couple — please see more pricing info on the event website ( www.lolohaha.us/couples-communication-lab). Maximum of 10 couples.
Instructor bios: Lolo Halman (he/him) is a counselor and conflict facilitator dedicated to helping individuals, partners, and families navigate the complexities of their personal and relational lives. He has worked in social change work of various types for over a decade, seeing our skills for conflict resolution as one of the core capacities we need to build as a society toward collective liberation. He largely works with couples and individuals in private practice, and specializes in working with nonmonogamous partnerships.
Sara Eden Gally (they/them) is a queer, non-binary, somatic therapist who specializes in working with relationships of all structures. Sara Eden has trained extensively in somatic and mindfulness based modalities, has designed and facilitated communication workshops since 2010, and is a Zen Buddhist practitioner.
